For Jill, Fortress represents the perfect intersection of her background in theology, education, and operations. Originally from Abilene, Jill moved to Fort Worth to attend Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. She went on to complete a Master of Theological Studies at Brite Divinity School. Following graduate school, Jill transitioned into the business world, holding administrative and operations roles across a variety of industries, including online retail, legal services, and financial management.
At one point in her career, Jill stepped away from the private sector to pursue her passion for education. She earned her alternative certification in elementary education and became an award-winning 3rd grade teacher.
As a lifelong learner, Jill is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Texas at Arlington and is eager to apply her growing knowledge and experience to support and further the mission of Fortress.
Jill is actively involved in her community, serving on the City of River Oaks Parks Board and as a Tarrant County Precinct Chair. When she’s not working, studying, or volunteering, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband, Keith, and their two beloved dogs. You’ll often find them exploring local museums, catching live theater performances at Stage West, or trying out the newest spot on the Fort Worth foodie scene. Jill also enjoys playing golf, relaxing at the lake, and hosting game nights. She is an avid reader, a member of a vibrant book club, and dabbles in creative writing—especially poetry. A proud Horned Frog and TCU football season ticket holder, Jill and Keith can reliably be found in the stands on Saturdays in the Fall.
