A dedicated early childhood educator and leader, Tiffany is passionate about serving families and children with excellence, care, and purpose. She sees her role as Fortress’s Director of Programs and Impact as an opportunity to make lasting impact by promoting high-quality, inclusive, and empowering services for the community.
Tiffany’s career has been marked by a commitment to implementing developmentally-appropriate practices and utilizing research-based curricula to support both teaching staff and young learners. With more than 12 years of experience in Early Head Start and Head Start programs, she has served in various leadership roles including Education and Disability Manager and Assistant Director. She brings a wealth of knowledge in supporting children with disabilities through behavior plans aligned with clinical diagnoses. Tiffany has also worked within the mental health field, providing in-school and in-home services to children and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the historic Lane College and a Master’s in Higher Education and Leadership from the University of Tennessee at Martin. In addition, she holds certifications including a Child Development Associate (CDA), CLASS certification in Pre-K, and an Associate’s Certification in Early Childhood Education.
Outside of her professional life, Tiffany recently married her best friend and enjoys traveling, exploring nature, attending plays, reading, and spending quality time with her husband. She is excited to lead with compassion, strategy, and deep respect for the transformative work Fortress continues to do.
