Leticia discovered Fortress through a friend and loved everything she heard about her friend's experience working here. Learning that this is a faith-based center gave her the conviction to feel and know that this is the place she wanted to be, and she thanks God for opening a door for her here. Leticia has been a preschool teacher since 2018, working primarily with toddlers (12 - 24 months) and kindergartners. She loves teaching and is passionate about working towards general development with her kids. She loves to read with her students, specifically seeing them light up when she acts on her storytelling and afterwards when they ask her about the story she just read.

Leticia is happily married to Jaime and has four kids, a beautiful granddaughter, and also a little chihuahua named Coco. Her family loves spending time together and loves planning trips to the beach in Mexico and visiting her in-laws also in Mexico. She loves to write, so that means she loves gel pens! Her family loves the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Rangers, but above all they love Jesus and their church Mercy Culture.

One of her favorite verses is "Javez cried out to the God of Israel, 'Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge(expand) my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm(evil) so that I will be free from pain.' And God granted his request." 1 Chronicles 4:10
