Jason Brown, LPC
Jason was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. He grew up attending church at Altamesa Church of Christ and spent much of his childhood and teen years attending school at Southwest Christian School. Jason is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Richland Hills, TX. He has a Master of Science in Counseling from Abilene Christian University, is a Certified Mental Health Coach, and is certified as a Child & Adolescent Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP-CA), as well as a Love and Logic Parenting Facilitator. He and his wife, Cori have three daughters. Outside of counseling and community work, much of his time is spent watching his daughters play soccer and being involved in their schools.
Cori and Jason have served Fortress for over 20 years, bringing youth groups and church groups to serve in the after school programs, participating in Fortress summer missions, leading trainings and workshops for our teaching staff, and offering counseling to Fortress’s children and parents. Fortress has become a special place to the Brown family because they can serve and be involved together. Jason has seen the value and impact Fortress has had on the community around this historic Fort Worth area and he feels blessed to be a part of that work. He appreciates the love and value that every child and family that walks through the door receives, and is honored to be a part of the Fortress Board of Directors. His hope is that Fortress continues to grow and be known in this community as a place that brings hope to children.
