Ethan Weber found a calling to Fortress and the Historic Southside neighborhood when he began working as an after school teacher in 2013. After holding several full-time roles with the organization, including development, community relations, and volunteer coordinator, he stepped away in 2019 to pursue his goal of becoming a school counselor. After teaching Pre-K for two years at the local elementary school, he is excited to be back at Fortress as the Director of Development and Communications while he pursues his Master’s of School Counseling from Texas A&M International University.

Ethan was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He came to Fort Worth in 2010 to attend Texas Christian University and graduated in 2014 with a degree in strategic communication. He loves Cornhusker and Horned Frog football but also plays and enjoys the other kind of futbol. In his free time you will find him on a soccer field, sipping coffee while reading his Bible, or hanging out with close friends and family.
