Alejandra Lopez
Lead Teacher

alejandra@teach.fortressfw.org

Alejandra (aka Ali) is a preschool and after school teacher, working with ours prekindergarten students in the morning and our infants in the afternoon.

Alejandra graduated from OD Wyatt High School in 2014, and then attended Tarrant County College. She recently earned her Child Development Associate certification, and after working for Fortress for 4 years, she can’t dream of being anywhere else!

Alejandra loves working with our kids! Although Alejandra is the teacher, she claims that she learns a lot more from the kids every day. Our kids motivate her to be a better person. If you were to ask Ali about her students, she would tell you that she sees them as her own! She cares for their future and she wants them to know that she’ll always have her heart open for them to hold on to.

Alejandra was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Her parents are originally from Mexico. She loves to travel and explore nature. Alejandra also has a “second job” as a makeup artist during the weekends (she’s really good at it!). Alejandra has been happily married since 2019 and she is a mommy of two dogs name Maggie and Sassy.
