Field Trip Suggestions
Field trips are a vital way that students in impoverished communities can bridge the summer learning gap and gain exposure to worlds and possibilities outside their immediate community. We encourage you to think outside of the box and to create room in your missions budget to plan a field trip that will be memorable for the students at Fortress! Below are a list of suggestions based on Fort Worth and surrounding area attractions. Typically, we encourage groups to limit travel time to 20 minutes each way, although we make exceptions for attractions that are unique and outside the scope of what can be accessed within that 20-minute radius.
(Please note: Due to licensing requirements, we cannot participate in field trips at trampoline parks or pools/water parks.)
